Heat Staking Welders

A Trinetics Hot Air / Cold Form system is a new high-tech method for staking/forming single or multiple tabs/sections, while achieving assemblies and appearances far superior to other staking methods. The patented Hot Air/Cold Form Assembly is a highly efficient system because it isolates and independently controls the heating and staking processThe most significant advantage is in reducing the hidden cost of electricity and air consumption. In fact, Trinetics HA/CF Assembly system will pay for itself on efficiency alone over conventional hot air systems in less than two years. For staking, the HA/CF system precisely controls the heating of each stake pin, the head height, head shape and the cooling process.

Benefits:

Energy efficient heating and cooling system saves you over $1,350/yr per pin (one 8-hr shift/ yr.) Large number of pins or multiple assemblies can be staked during each cycle Designed for simple adjustment and ease of maintenance Sections of plastic can be reformed.

Features:

  • Access panels on all sides for ease of maintenance
  • Allen-Bradley programmable controller Bench top or Floor model
  • Digital temperature controller with thermocouple
  • First piece start-up and standby operating control
  • Heavy duty base and frame construction
  • Individual heater adjustable air flow meters
  • JIC Pneumatic cylinders
  • Long life reed and proximity switches
  • Non tie-down anti-repeat push button controls
  • Modular pin system for ease of set up and retooling
  • Precision bearing and rod construction
  • Wide selection of cold pin tip designs.

Trinetics Hot Tool/Cold Inserting system is used in bench machines or automated systems to insert metal studs, metal inserts, pins and standoffs into a plastic component quickly and accurately. The number or size of inserts per cycle does not limit machine operation. In addition to multiple assemblies, the inserts may even be recessed into location and can be done independently because each insert has individual XYZ axis adjustment. Final insert assemblies achieve superior results compared to ultrasonic staking because stress is minimized around the insert. A digital temperature controller to provide for consistent and complete assemblies accurately controls the Series 4000 HT/CI tooling. Systems are available in our standard Bench models or custom Floor models.
